Eligibility

  • Target Audience: Open to all middle school and high school students worldwide.

  • Team Size: Individual submissions or teams of up to 4 students.

  • New Work Only: All code and project assets must be created during the official hackathon timeframe (October 10–11, 2026). Pre-existing open-source libraries, APIs, and frameworks are allowed.

Project and Submission Requirements

  • Projects must align with the theme: AI for Automation.

  • Teams must submit all required fields (code repository, video demo, and description) before the submission deadline.

  • All projects must adhere to the EvoHacks Code of Conduct (friendly, inclusive, and fair play).

Prizes

 

  • 1st Place Overall: Top tier sponsor credits, digital winner certificates, and featured showcase on evohacks.xyz.

  • 2nd Place Overall: Runner-up sponsor credits, digital certificates, and community recognition.

  • 3rd Place Overall: Category sponsor credits and digital certificates.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Projects will be evaluated by industry judges and mentors based on four core criteria:

  1. Impact & Utility (25%): Does the automation solve a real problem or significantly streamline a task?

  2. Technical Execution (25%): Quality of code, effective integration of AI models/APIs, and system performance.

  3. Creativity & Innovation (25%): Originality of the concept and unique application of AI for automation.

  4. Presentation & Demo (25%): Quality of the video demonstration, documentation, and clarity of explanation.
